The MPI Direct Repair program helps our customers get back on the road as quickly as possible. Customers can expedite their repairs by calling MPI to obtain an eligible claim number and then visiting us directly for an estimate.

Running a large, single location allows us to bring maximum resources to each repair. We employ roughly 30 trained staff and are able to perform all major aspects of your repair.
As we continue to build upon our reputation for quality work, our goal is to become widely known as the most dependable, independent provider of collision repairs in the region.

Our History
Over 50 years ago, Winter’s Collision Repair opened the doors of its small autobody shop.
Located on the corner of Elgin and Arlington, and with just 2 employees to begin with, Dave Winter’s small business became known for its attention to detail.
Winter’s quickly grew its customer base solely by word of mouth. Among customers and employees, Winter’s became well known for its integrity – for doing the job the way it should be done.
In 1973, Peter Janzen began working at Winter’s and eventually assumed the role of General Manager. Many customers believed that Peter and Dave were brothers, as they worked closely together to see the company succeed.
Since retired, both Dave and Peter remain an important part of Winter’s legacy. Their hard work is the standard we continuously set out to match and exceed.
Winter’s continues to work to the high standards and values we have practiced since 1960.
